 Me and my friends went on a trip to Sigiriya recently. We went by a van. We reached Sigiriya at 8.00 a.m.I was unforgettable day in my life. Sigiriya is one of the most valuable historical monuments of Sri Lanka. Refered by locals as the eight wonder of the world. This ancient place and fortress complex has significant archaeological importance and attracts thousand of tourists every year. It is probably the most visited tourists  destination of Sri Lanka. The sigiriya fortress was built by King Kashyapa.He built his places on the top of this rock and decorated it's sides with colourfull forest. I saw the lion gate, the mirror wall, landscape gardens, water gardens, and caves in sigiriya. We had our lunch there. We took beautiful pictures on my camara. At 4.00 p.m we returned home.  My school is Pushpadana Girls College Kandy. I joined the school in 2017. I met many friends in that school. They are Manu, Priya, Hiru, Kawi, Lucky, Ashani. Even though we had these names we used names that we made up ourselves🙊. Those names are fun. About my friends Manu is very friendly friend🤗. She has a long hair. Ashi is a quite character🤥. She can play sitar beautifully. Priya is the tallest character in our set. She always makes us laugh🤣. Hiru is a crazy character😂😵‍💫. She can sing a song very beautifully. Kawi is most beautiful friend😍. She is very kind. Lucky is our cello player. She is always smiling😁. Ashani is the most innocent person in our set😊. She can also play the violin beautifully🎻. It's been 4 years since we've been apart we're busy with each other's work😣. We will look for ourselves as soon as possible🤗. That friendship will never be lost😎. We love our friendship😘.  I love my friends soo much❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Basketball is my favorite sport. The reason why, is because I've been playing basketball. Since I was 15 years old. Basketball is a game where two teams play against each other. There are also different plyers on the team. The different position are small forward, power forward, point guard, shooting and center. I am the point guard. Basketball is very enjoyble for me and keeps me out of trouble. I won't say basketball is easy because it is not, playing basketball you have to practice with your team. I also like to watch basketball on tv it because seeing how other people play and add it to my technique. Basketball has helped me to make friends,build my confidence up and skills that will help me reach my goals in life. So basketball play and an importance in setting me up for my life.  I'm Nimeshika Thennakoon. I'm 22 years old. I have a beautiful family given by god. They are my mother, father, sister and brother. About me I like to smile all the time😁.  The person I love the most in this wold is my brother. He is really the most valuable person in my life🥰. His name is Suneth Bandara. He is 19 years old. This time he will face the A/L exam. His school is Vidyartha College Kandy. His ththoughtfulness makes him a wonderful person😍. He is the sweetest younger brother. I honestly cannot imagine growing up without him. He has many friends, in school He has always been popular😁 . He always knows how to make me feel better about a bad situation🥺. He has a very different way of thinking and looking at things, So I know that when he gives me advice about something, most likely he is giving me good advice and that he knows what is best for me🤗. So, having my little brother in my life is an amazing gift.Being an older sister, I am responsible for his well-being. I try my best to keep him happy and positive😘.  Pets are a great blessing in anyone's life. They are the only ones who love us unconditional. So my pet is the valuable gift I have recieved in my life. I got it on my 20th birthday. I still remember how my father gave it to me. He was a little kid then. I took in my hand and held it for a long time. But by now he is big. I can't take care of him like I used to. All my family members love him with all their heart. We love his silly antics and cannot imagine our lives without him. We named him Rocky. Rocky is a very humble and child friendly dog. He is a little bit funny nature. He is very happy when he is around children. Rocky is really a best and sincere friend for me. He protects my house in my absence.He has very sharp ability to understand the potential danger ahead. I always be thankful to my father for giving me the best gift of  life long friend, Rocky.
