Meemure🍂

Meemure is a isolated village in the central province of Sri Lanka. The only way to reach it is from the Hunnasgiriya mountain,which is part of the Knuckless range,approximately 50km from kandy. The village itself recieves abundant water in the from waterfalls that have their sources in the evergreen forest of the Knuckless.



 The village has a population of approximately 400 with about 125 families. The vilagers build eco-friendy homes using clay and illuk. Which lasts for over three decades. Meemure villagers earned thier bread by harvesting the spice. After this they shifted to chena cultivation, paddy cultivation and pepper cultivation. There is no direct mail delivery to the village.a villager journey each day to thapal junction to exchange incoming and outgoing postal mail with a post man.



Lakegala mountain is in meemure village. That is 1314m tall. The mountain bears many unmarked ruins, including caves with evidence of ancient humman inhabitation.



               



Finnaly, Meemure is a village with natural beauty and an ecologically valuable village culture in Sri Lanka.

Basketball 🏀♥️

Basketball is my favorite sport. The reason why, is because I've been playing basketball. Since I was 15 years old. Basketball is a game where two teams play against each other. There are also different plyers on the team. The different position are small forward, power forward, point guard, shooting and center. I am the point guard. Basketball is very enjoyble for me and keeps me out of trouble. I won't say basketball is easy because it is not, playing basketball you have to practice with your team. I also like to watch basketball on tv it because seeing how other people play and add it to my technique. Basketball has helped me to make friends,build my confidence up and skills that will help me reach my goals in life. So basketball play and an importance in setting me up for my life.
